Dating 101 why men cheat

So I humbled myself and took my grandmother out for dinner to hear why she thought courtship was a bad idea all those years ago.She had predicted the failure of courtship back in the 90s and I wanted to understand how and why. After 20 years there still is no general consensus as to what courtship is.I explained what courtship was and quoted Joshua Harris, chapter and verse. “I don’t think courtship is a smart idea,” my grandfather said.“How can you tell who you want to marry if you aren’t going out on dates? I ignored their advice on relationships, preferring to listen to the young people around me who were passionate advocates of courtship. Why has a disappointing sex life with your partner become the norm? While all of the above may be true, no one is saying the biggest overarching reason: She probably was at some point in the past but not currently. The research shows that women like to be desired and taken by their man.

Each year I waited for courtship to start working and for my homeschool friends to start getting married. The whole point of courtship was to have a happy marriage, not a high divorce rate.

They were not the Bible-reading, small-grouping, mission-tripping Christian young people common in evangelical churches today.

And yet her community of friends all got married and then stayed married for decades and decades.

We are born to have sex — it’s part of our biology, just like eating and sleeping. You became needy, clingy, dependent, and overbearing. They automatically expect her to take off her clothes just because she’s their partner. It gets associated with negative feelings rather than something they love and crave to do.

It’s one of our core physiological needs to live happily. This kind of behavior is pathetic, unfair, and an absolute turnoff. And stop believing that women don’t want sex as much as we do.
