Wii updating do not turn power off
That happened to me one time, so I did a hard reboot, aka, pulled the plug. When I booted back up, no problems whatsoever, but I did let out a big sigh of relief, as that was not the route i wanted to take." alerts, so I finally changed to channel 1 on my router and apparently that made a difference (or it was a coincidence, none of my other wi-fi products cared about the channel).
It's been there for an hour now and nothing is happening.
Other, slower types of connections may not be compatible. Wireless interference can affect the signal strength between your system and wireless router.

I forgot that I was downloading something and turned off the system.
I recently bought an HD TV and the HDMI cable won't show the game.
